The Great Grown-Up Game of Make Believe Named Winner of TIL Award

Autumn House Press is proud to announce that Lauren D. Woods’ The Great Grown-Up Game of Make Believe has been named the winner of the Texas Institute of Letters’ (TIL) Sergio Troncoso Award for Best First Book of Fiction.

Each year, the TIL recognizes outstanding literary works by authors with Texas roots through its annual Literary Awards. This year’s awards, held in College Station, Texas, mark fourteen years of the program.

We also extend our congratulations to the other winners and honorees, and our thanks to this year’s judges for their thoughtful consideration.
