Terminal Maladies Named as a Finalist for the Legacy Award

Autumn House Press is excited to announce that Owkudili Nebeolisa’s Terminal Maladies has been selected as a 2025 Legacy Award Finalist within the Poetry category, alongside Alison C. Rollins and Carl Phillips. The Legacy Awards honor Black writers in the US and around the world for exceptional literary achievement.

The winners will be announced at the annual award ceremony on Friday, October 17th in DC. Thank you to the Hurston/Wright Foundation, and congratulations to all those recognized! And a special congratulations to Owkudili Nebeolisa.
