Review of Heartland Calamitous from Sundress Publications

January 13, 2021

Michael Credico‘s debut short story collection Heartland Calamitous received a wonderful review from Sundress Publications. Reviewer Gokul Prabhu calls the collection “a must-read” and notes:

Michael Credico paints for us the experience of what it means to occupy and navigate the Midwest. He describes, through almost lyric-like-not prose, both the feeling of living in the center of the world and yet, at the same time, existing, among slaughterhouses and fast food joints, in the margins.

AHP is grateful to Sundress Publications for the feature and to Gokul Prabhu for taking the time to share his insights about Michael Credico’s work. Read the full review in Sundress Reads.
