Anne Marie Macari

Anne Marie Macari is the author of four books of poetry, most recently Red Deer (Persea, 2015). In 2000, Macari won the Honickman/APR First Book Prize for Ivory Cradle, followed by Gloryland, (Alice James, 2005) and She Heads Into the Wilderness (Autumn House, 2009). Macari founded the Drew University MFA Program in Poetry. Her essays and poems have appeared in numerous magazines.
