Announcement: Publishing Partnership with PEN America

Autumn House is thrilled to announce that it will be partnering with PEN America for the upcoming PEN/Robert J. Dau Short Story Prize for Emerging Writers.

Each year, the prize recognizes 12 emerging writers for an outstanding debut short story published in a literary magazine, journal, or cultural website, helping launch the next generation of fiction writers. Autumn House Press will proudly be publishing the contest’s annual anthology featuring the winners of the 2027 prize.
