AHP Events in Pittsburgh This Weekend

Liza Katz Duncan is the author of Given (Autumn House Press, 2023), which won the Autumn House Press Rising Writer Prize, selected by Donika Kelly. Her poems have appeared in AGNI, About Place, Poem-a-Day, Poetry Northwest, National Poetry Review, and elsewhere. She has received support for her work from Poets & Writers, the Bread Loaf Environmental Writers Conference, and the Tucson Festival of Books.
Catherine Gammon is the author of the novel The Martyrs, The Lovers, and a new collection, The Gunman and the Carnival, forthcoming from Baobab Press in 2024. Catherine’s previous novels are China Blue, Sorrow, and Isabel Out of the Rain. Her fiction has received support from the NEA, NYFA, the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, and the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, among others, and has appeared in literary magazines for many years.
Ben Gwin is the author of the novel, Clean Time: The True Story of Ronald Reagan Middleton (Burrow Press), and the forthcoming nonfiction book, Team Building: A Memoir about Family and the Fight for Workers’ Rights (Belt, 2023). He is the editor of the nonfiction anthology The Pittsburgh Neighborhood Guidebook (Belt). His writing has appeared in Coal Hill Review, The Normal School, Gulf Stream, and others.
