Ada Limón Named the 24th U.S. Poet Laureate

July 14, 2022

Autumn House Press wants to congratulate Ada Limón on her appointment as the nation’s 24th U.S. Poet Laureate.

We are immensely grateful to have published Limón’s debut collection Lucky Wreck (2005) as well as the 15th Anniversary Edition of the collection in 2021. Of Ada’s debut, Jimmy Santiago Baca said Ada’s work is

a type of survival poetry searching the world, getting into a deeper knowledge of people . . .

And it is with this continued commitment to the knowledge of people and living that Limón begins her Laureateship this fall.

See Limón’s website for an extensive list of her work, and visit the Library of Congress’ website for more information on her appointment.

Once again, congratulations to Autumn House Poet and 24th Poet Laureate Ada Limón!
