Coal Hill Review Chapbook Contest

Coal Hill Review, Autumn House Press’ online imprint, holds an annual poetry chapbook contest. We are interested in a wide range of poetry. We ask that all submissions come through our annual contest. The final judge for the 2017 competition is Heather McNaugher. Winner receives publication and $1,000. Please review the Coal Hill Review website for more information on the contest.

Chapbook Contest Guidelines

  • Submission period: August 1st – November 1st
  • Reading fee: $20 (checks made out to Autumn House Press)
  • Manuscript length: 12-20 pages
  • Please include with manuscript: Cover letter, Table of Contents, Acknowledgments of previously published poems, SASE
  • Simultaneous submissions permitted (*Please inform immediately of publication elsewhere)
